Sports Medicine Fellowship Program
As a preeminent center for research and education in orthopaedics and sports medicine, Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic remains a pioneer in medical breakthroughs. We have been responsible for developing advanced surgical methods and procedures to enhance treatment, rehabilitation and recovery for our patients.
In 1973, the clinic established a sports medicine fellowship program that is now one of the country's largest and most respected programs of its kind. Each year this program provides intensive training and research for a select group of the nation's finest young doctors. This is a fitting tribute to its founder Dr. Kerlan, who passed away in September of 1996, after dedicating nearly 50 years of medical education, research and clinical practice to the medical community.
