Sports Medicine Fellowship Program
As a preeminent center for research and education in orthopaedics and sports medicine, Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic remains a pioneer in medical breakthroughs. We have been responsible for developing advanced surgical methods and procedures to enhance treatment, rehabilitation and recovery for our patients.
In 1973, the clinic established a sports medicine fellowship program that is now one of the country's largest and most respected programs of its kind. Each year this program provides intensive training and research for a select group of the nation's finest young doctors. This is a fitting tribute to its founder Dr. Kerlan, who passed away in September of 1996, after dedicating nearly 50 years of medical education, research and clinical practice to the medical community.
Additionally, we have partnered with Children's Hospital Los Angeles to offer a Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship. For more information, click here [External Page] or contact our office by phone at (310) 665-7129.
