David C. Hay, M.D. specializes in hand and upper extremity surgery. Dr. Hay earned his Doctor of Medicine at Saint Louis School of Medicine and completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the Stanford University Hospital and Clinics. Dr. Hay received his Bachelor of Science in Biology at Stanford, and while an undergraduate he was a member of the Stanford water polo team that won the 1994 NCAA national championship, and was a 2-time NCAA All-American and 4-time NCAA Academic All-American.
Prior to joining Kerlan-Jobe, Dr. Hay completed the Harvard Hand and Upper Extremity Fellowship at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Boston Children’s Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital. He has published a number of papers, book chapters and presentations. Dr. Hay is the consulting hand surgeon for the NHL’s Anaheim Ducks. He is an Orange County native.
