Ronald E. Glousman, M.D. is an orthopaedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine,
shoulder, elbow, and knee injuries. After earning his medical doctorate at UCLA,
he completed his internship at the University of Southern California Medical Center,
where he also did his orthopedic surgery residency. Dr. Glousman was a Sports Medicine
Fellow at the Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic. Dr. Glousman was recognized by the
Los Angeles Times as a Sports Medicine Super Doctor in 2012 and was named one of
the Best Doctors in Southern California in 2009. He serves as a consultant to several
teams, including the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Los Angeles Lakers.
Dr. Glousman is active in the medical community and serves on a number of committees.
He is a vice president of the Kerlan-Jobe Foundation and chairman of the Foundation’s
Graduate Medical Education Committee. Dr. Glousman is certified by the National
Board of Medical Examiners and the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery (ABOS) and
has an ABOS Subspecialty Certification in orthopaedic sports medicine. He has authored
more than 40 publications, supervised more than 25 research projects and has been
a facilitator for more than 70 lectures. He is one of the most sought after medical
advisors in orthopaedics in California and across the nation.
